Drum

A war drum. The drum is cylindrical in shape and made of wood, with a skin membrane at each end. These are held on by leather covered rings held tight by twisted leather thongs. The body of the drum is surrounded by a band of patterned pink calico, partially covered by four large discs of skin. It also has a sling made from blue and white twisted cloth, and a wooden beater (numbered 0.9321/20.b).
