Banjo (with box and lid); carved from wood; a) rectangular box lined with paper; b) lid rectangle of wood, carved with crescent; made to slide across top of box; c) banjo round body, neck out one side; ivory? bridges on body and neck; four ivory tuning pegs in neck; plastic strings strung across bridge to tuning pegs; back juniper wood inlaid with abalone shell.
