Duct flute
Small flute made from the dried stem of wild tobacco plant (Lobelia nicotianaefolia Heyne.). Seven fingerholes and one thumbhole in the back. Bottom of pipe is closed with a plug that has a smaller diameter hole. The design of this instrument resembles the one used for the Indian double pipe "algoza." In that case, a single pipe with this many fingerholes would be used with a second drone pipe.
