Drum
Large and slim double-headed drum, with wooden shell and animal skin membranes. Flesh- and counter-hoops made of vine. Twine cord used to lap membranes and tensioning. A textile cloth strip is attached to be used as a strap/handle. Drumheads are painted with white pigment (star or butterfly on one side, and flower on opposite side). This drum is used in the puberty ceremony of the Ticuna people.
