Rattle

Vessel rattle made of gourd (Lagenaria siceraria) with small round black seeds inside (Canna indica L.). The filling hole is covered with a network of twine. The gourd has several other small holes throughout. This instrument was donated by Christopher Timbe of the Zimbabwe College of Music, in Harare.
