Suling
End-blown, open flute made of bamboo (Schizostachyum blumei Nees), with a single notch at the proximal end partially covered by a narrow bamboo or rattan ring. This distinctive ring-and-notch design constitute the external duct. One large (2nd) and three small elliptical fingerholes. This flute is used as an accompanying instrument in Gamelan Degung.
