varnish overall a transparent reddish brown spirit. Body: loop-shaped, with no corners; ribs and plates flush at edge; only the belly is purfled. Back: 1 piece sycamore; arching moderately high, edge pronounced, with revetted groove. Belly: 1 piece pine, moderately arched; nut, tailpiece ebony; 1 central soundhole (30mm), without decoration. Fingerboard: ebony; head and neck in 1 piece; neck at transitional angle to body; curved oblong finial in place of scroll; 4 boxwood pegs; endpin ebony with pearl spot. Ribs: sycamore, purfled. Inside: soundpost with transverse bar over it, and linings. Length 550, body 310, width 40/85, depth 30, fingerboard 260
