6-string model. Back: vaulted and curved, of 11 concave strips of rosewood with narrow boxwood stringing between; ribs: at deepest part, 6 pieces of rosewood with boxwood stringing. Belly: flat, in pine, with fretwork rose of stained rosewood, with open hole in the centre; fixed bridge and endpiece in ebony. Inside: at least 2 cross-bars on belly; glued to the back are strips of paper stuck over at least 5 (visible) pieces of manuscript. Neck: inlaid, with ivory collar at an angle and ivory half-rings at the button. Fingerboard: 11 ivory frets. Head: rosewood, small, flat; 6 boxwood pegs with notched ends and a knob. Length 880, body 440, width 217/187/252, depth 67/84/63, strings 622, fingerboard 290
