body: 21 strips of sycamore with ebony stringing between and ebony edges. Belly: pine with carved rose in central sound-hole; inked lines take the place of purfling. Fingerboard: overlapping neck at the sides; 12 brass frets; nut: ivory; at end of body, 26 pins for 10 double courses and 6 single strings; 16 ebony pegs. Head: not angled, but continues in a shallow curve from the neck. Length 785, body 390, width 298, depth 130, fingerboard 240
