Technical description: Cocus; 5 sections; silver keys; 6 chased silver ferrules, with ivory between metal ferrule and wooden body; black-leather-covered pads; ivory screw-stopper with graduated silver sleeve; metal-lined head; graduated, wood-covered tuning-slide; grooves turned on head and tuning-slide section; large oval embouchure-hole; large finger-holes for L2, R1 and R2; tube flattened slightly around right hand finger-holes; overlapping low C/C♯ touches. Keymount type: ring/knob. Keyhead type: saltspoon, with pewter plugs and metal-lined key-holes for low C/C♯.
