Technical description: Cocus; 4 sections; german silver keys and ferrules; bone mouthpiece; 6 finger-holes, no thumb-hole; the G♯ key-hole is positioned on the right-hand side of the instrument, with the C keyshank arched over the G♯ keyhead. This is virtually a D piccolo in C with flageolet head section and two-part wind-cap. L0: B♭. L1: T. L2: T. L3: T. L4: G♯; long F. R0:, R1: T; C. R2: T. R3: T; cross F. R4: D♯. Keymount type: knob. Keyhead type: saltspoon.
