Technical description: Opened for demonstration purpose. Soundboard of spruce; back, ribs, head and neck of sycamore; pegs, fingerboard and tail-gut protector of ebony; endpin of ebony with mother-of-pearl centre. Instrument covered with a golden brown varnish. Not much wear indicating use. Marks on the soundboard indicating position of a bridge. Arch of soundboard 15mm. Plugged hole in the soundboard into the lower block, slightly offset to the bass side. ebony/sycamore/ebony purfling. ribs have a medium figure. Two piece back with medium figure, towards the top in the centre and down at the edges. Back arch 14.5mm. 1 piece head and neck. Well cut scroll. Pine top and bottom blocks and lower point corner pieces inside, no upper point corner pieces. Pine liners. Bass bar has been carved in the solid with the soundboard. Neck length 132; fingerboard length 274, width at nut 23.5, at bottom 41.0.
