Tenor horn. Nominal pitch: F / E♭.
Technical description: Brass. Main tuning-slide extension piece for lowering pitch from F to E♭, overall length 160. Water-key. Fitting for music card-holder. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung; alignment by key on piston. Metal partitions. Repair History: Valve bottom caps and touchpieces are replacements, at least in part. The 2nd valve tuning-slide reconstructed by S. Benzie, 1999, retaining original knuckles and bow, replacing missing slide legs with slides of bore 11.8.
