Technical description: Rosewood; 5 sections; german silver keys; 7 german silver ferrules; german silver embouchure-plate; tuning-slide; screw-stopper; oval embouchure-hole; large finger-holes, especially L2, R1, R2; metal-lined head; overlapping low C/C? touches. Of the many design features patented by Monzani in 1807 and 1812, this instrument displays only the metal tuning-slide received by another metal tube, from the 1807 patent (G.B. Patent No.3074, 19th October 1807). Keymount type: knob.
