Technical description: Bookmatched soundboard of spruce, grain generally wide but getting closer towards the edges. The bridge is of ebony with an ivory saddle. Main part of bridge is 73mm long and 6mm wide, full length 133mm long, ending with ebony dots with mother-of-pearl eyes. Oval soundhole, 67mm wide and 41mm deep. Purfling around the soundhole of fruitwood, then thin strips of willow, fruitwood, willow, four strips of fruitwood, willow, fruitwood, willow, fruitwood. Tortoiseshell scratchplate applied over a greenish gold ground. Ribs and main part of capping piece of maple. Purfling around the soundboard of rosewood with thin strips of willow. The neck is veneered in rosewood and joins the head with a Vjoint. The head is of maple, veneered on the upper and lower surface with rosewood. Brass machine heads with ivory buttons. The nut is ivory. The fingerboard is rosewood with metal frets The neck is 145mm long, 29.5mm wide at the nut and 36mm wide at the body join. The fingerboard is glued to the top of the soundboard. There are 17frets in total, and it has elliptical mother-of-pearl position markers at frets 5, 7, 10 and 12.
