Technical description: The round, concave, brazilwood stick is varnished, has a leather grip and 'whale bone winding' and ends in a modern head with an ivory headface. The screw-mechanism, rounded, ebony frog has mother-of-pearl decorative eyes, a mother-of-pearl slide, a two-piece silver ferrule with a wooden ferrule wedge, a nickel underslide, and a metal heelplate. (The ferrule is made up of two pieces, one on the bottom surface of frog and the other forming the curve of a 'D' shape.)
