Technical description: Nut brown wood; 4 sections (usual three plus head cap); 6 finger-holes plus thumb-hole; brass key for lowest tone-hole; slight undercutting of tone-holes; flared foot section; narrow windway with up-cut lip giving breathy tone. Keymount type: ring. Keyhead type: heart-shaped. Repair History: The middle section has a different colour; it may possibly be a replacement or have been re-varnished.
