Valve trumpet. Nominal pitch: F.
Technical description: Brass with plain garland; fixed valve loops, no valve tuning-slides; main tuning-slide possibly shortest of several original alternatives for crooking in 'Inventionshorn' manner. Valve type: 2 Stölzel valves (top sprung); alignment of each by a guide pin screwed right through the casing, the pin also locating the lower ends of spring. Repair History: Mouthpipe repaired, original minimum bore c11.8mm.
