Technical description: Two sections; one-piece body of 'new metal' alloy; stainless steel head with silver embouchure plate; silver-plated german silver keys; long tuning-slide; modern-style foot mechanism arrangement. Boehm 1847 system fingering except for:-, L0: B; Br B♭. R1: F; B trill; D trill. Keymount type: rod/pillar. Keyhead type: cylinder cup. Repair History: The key touchpieces were silver-plated when the instrument was still fairly new; a boxwood support for the left hand was also added.
