Bombardon. Nominal pitch: F.
Technical description: Brass with german silver trim. No tuning slide on 2nd valve. Two rings for sling. Valve type: 3 Berlin valves, Wieprecht pattern. Repair History: There are a number of patches, large and small, perhaps necessitated by the rather light overall construction. The main tuning-slide has possibly been shortened, since there are alignment marks on the inner and outer valve tuning-slides and the (moving) inner slide of the main-tuning-slide, but no alignment mark on the (fixed) outer main tuning-slide.
