Euphonium. Nominal pitch: C / B♭.
Technical description: brass; fitting for music card holder. With long main tuning-slide for B?. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom sprung; alignment by key on piston. Repair History: The Ctuning-slide is a replacement by North Winds, made 17-24 February 2006. Probably it was built inC with an extension piece (adding c284mm to the sounding length) to be inserted between the body and the main tuning-slide to give B?; at some point the main tuning-slide was shortened and soldered into the extension piece.
