Natural trumpet. Nominal pitch: D.
Technical description: brass; garland reinforced at rim with D-section ring. Wooden spacing block; bound with braided cord, dark maroon.This is a copy of the trumpet by Hanns Hainlein, Nürnberg, 1632 (Stadtmuseum, Munich, 67-5); the original however has a sounding length of 2271 and a bore of 11.5.
