Valve trumpet. Nominal pitch: 5½-ft G.
Technical description: brass, with plain garland, probably added in repair. with 5 crooks (5739a), (5739b), (5739c), (5739d), (5739e), Valve type: 3 double-piston valves with Old Mainz levers and return springs, arranged for operation by the right hand. Repair History: Garland apparently added, since it is undamaged but covers creases in the bell.
