Technical description: Brass body and valves, copper bell section only; brass garland. The sounding length is short for an instrument in F so it may have been intended to be used with a shank adding c100mm for F and with crooks for lower pitches. R1: semitone valve., R2: two-semitone valve. Valve type: 2 Stölzel valves. Repair History: The main tuning-slide may have been shortened.
