Double flageolet

Boxwood, in five joints, plus mouthpiece, consisting of two chanters of equal length set in a common stock, surmounted by a two-piece windcap. Six ivory mounts and fourteen studs. Four square silver keys and one square brass replacement key. Two long silver cut-off keys on the stock. The left-hand chanter has two keys, one a replacement, and the right-hand chanter has three keys. The finger holes and keys have their pitches stamped beside them. Pitch of the instrument: C.
