Bagpipes (half-long pipes)

Rosewood pipes, the original chanter broken off near the mount and a modern reconstruction (1993) fitted. Three drones of rosewood, all mounted with a synthetic resin, possibly an early plastic. Bag of rubberised canvas, covered with green and black checked wool plaid, trimmed with red and green wool fringing. Bellows of ash and leather, with iron bracket and synthetic ivory mount. Bellows probably not original match with bag and pipes.
