Zither

Body of ebonised pine. Decorated with coloured, transfer-printed scrolled design around the edges of the case top and the border of the sound-hole. Two coloured, transfer-printed scales applied to the case. Two sets of strings, crossing each other diagonally, the majority of them modern steel and overspun replacements (1993), all held by 47 steel wrestpins. Three conical brass feet on base. In own wooden case.
