Belly of a single piece of pine, with two flame-shaped soundholes. The back of a single piece of sycamore. Sides, neck and long, tapering head all of sycamore, the square-shaped finial set with ebony, mother-of-pearl and a stained green wood in the from of a star. Fingerboard, nut and tailpiece of ivory, the tailpiece set with a small silver plate and ivory pins. Bridge of beech. Four double courses of metal strings and two single overspun strings, held by ring-shaped brass pegs on brass and ivory mounts, and brass gears enclosed in the head.
