Violin bow 'Cramer' style

A bow made of Pernambuco. Similar ivory inlay on the top of the head is found on bows from France and Germany. The hammer-shaped head and inward curving stick are typical of bows on the Cramer type, named after the soloist, Wilhelm Cramer (1746-99).
