Large, two-manual harpsichord, with complex mechanism: Venetian Swell and 'Machine'. Handsome case of veneered walnut with brass fittings, boxwood bandings. Removable stand. Two manuals with black 'accidental' and white ivory diatonic keys. Adjustable, folding music rack. Panels facing manual of satinwood veneer, with floral designs, two birds, and centre-piece of instruments. Three sets of strings, three at eight foot pitch and one four-foot, and four sets of jacks. Lingage of manuals by left foot pedal and hand-knobs: two at upper right, three3 at upper left of front panel above upper manual and one on the left side panel. Total compass of keyboards is five octaves from FF-f'''. Lowest FF sharp missing. Rose hole.
