Violin

Violin of Jamaican woods in a fitted marquetry box (bow missing). Back scrolls and sides made of wild pear, the belly of Swiss pine, the pegs of Coccus wood and the finger board of Cuban ebony. Fitted marquetry case with two carrying handles and two interior compartments, carved in mahogany with the Jamaican coat of arms. Other woods used include West Indian Cedar, Greenheart, Mahoe and 'Fiddlewood'. Case is lined with purple velvet.
