Lloyd (1858-1917) (who used the bardic name 'Telynor Ceiriog' - 'Harpist of Ceiriog') was well-known as a harp player and tutor. He taught the renowned 20th century triple-harpist Nansi Richards Jones. He was a native of the former slate-quarrying village of Llangynog, in Montgomeryshire, mid-Wales.
