Technical description: cocus; 4 sections (body in one piece); silver keys; 6 silver ferrules; metal-lined head; long metal tuning-slide with one gradation on part extending from tuning section; wooden cap with wooden screw-stopper (one gradation on tip); large oval embouchure-hole; large silver lip-plate set into wood; large L2, R1 and R2 finger-holes; metal-tipped tenons; overlapping low C/C♯ touches; plate for L3 domed, plate for R3 dished.; Nominal pitch: C.; Type or system: Siccama `Diatonic Flute'.; Keyhead type: cylinder cup, attached to slim shank by circular knob of metal on top of cup; pewter plugs for low C/C?, with metal key-hole surrounds.; Keymount type: rod/pillar, with leaf springs.; L0: @I{B♭.L1: @I{T.L2: @I{T.L3: @I{PS-G.L4: @I{G♯; long F.R1: @I{T; C.R2: @I{T.R3: @I{PS-D; cross F.R4: @I{D♯; low C♯; low C.; Usable pitch: A₄ c|462|Hz.; Performance characteristics: [original range C₄|-|C₇]; few notes playable in present condition, but those that speak do so with a clear, bright sound.
