Slide trumpet.
Technical description: Brass with german silver ferrules, garland, ball, mouthpiece receiver sheath, and slide bow guard. The ball appears to be three-part but is actually in two parts with soldered seam at widest circumference. First yard passes through channel in ball; distal bow soldered to side of bell. Slide proximal leg has moving outer; distal leg has moving inner; compression spring slide return with the spring enclosed in a cylinder between the bell and bow stays.; Nominal pitch: F etc.; ; ; ; ; Usable pitch: Probably built for use at circa A?=|452.4|Hz.;
