Square pianoforte
This is a mahogany square piano with a wooden frame, circa 1830. It is labelled on an ivory plaque, "John Broadwood, London". The carved and fretted panel above the keyboard is made of rosewood. The turned legs, terminating in brass castors, can be removed to transport the instrument.
