Rattle
Rattle made of four dried gourds filled with seeds and mounted in two wooden rods. The rod ends are attached with vegetable fibers to another transversal rod wrapped the same fibers thus forming a handle. The gap on one of the rods and a broken gourd piece on the other, indicates that originally each rod might have had three gourds. This instrument was acquired during the 2nd Ashanti War, 1873-74.
