Bass drum, East Kent Local Militia, 1801. Wood front painted grey with Hanoverian royal arms above a scroll inscribed with regimental name; flesh hoops whole, drum heads missing; twelve cord holes, painted grey outside with black edge and red worms, and yellow inside; natural hemp cords with buff slides; metal slide pick up.
