Side drum, 1815 (c), repainted 1825 (c). Wood; front painted royal blue and bears the royal arms and George IV cypher; flesh hoops and drum heads whole; ten rope holes, painted red; hemp cords with buff leather slides; plain drag rope. Reputedly used by an unspecified battalion of Foot Guards at the Battle of Waterloo.
