Transverse flute in C
Side-blown, boxwood flute made in four sections (head, barrel, upper joint, and long B-foot joint), with nine saltspoon-cup, silver-plated nickel-silver keys mounted in wooden blocks and ring. Flat springs attached to keys. Long key for low B. Ivory cap and ferrules. Oval embouchure hole. Conical bore. Nominal pitch: C. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
