Transverse flute (in F?)
Side-blown, ivory flute made in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with ivory cap, and integral ferrules. Five flat, square cover, silver keys mounted in blocks and foot stock bulge, and brass flat springs attached to keys. Single low C-sharp key. Oval embouchure hole. Nominal pitch: (E-flat?). This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
