Transverse flute in C
Side-blown, boxwood flute made in three sections (head, body joint, and long foot joint), with bone cap and ferrules. Eight flat, square-cover, silver keys mounted in blocks and foot stock bulge. The low C and C-sharp keys have overlapping touches. Flat springs attached to keys. Oval embouchure hole. Nominal pitch: C.
