Side-blown, boxwood flute made in five sections (head, barrel, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with five pewter-plug-cup, silver-plated brass keys mounted in wooden blocks and foot joint stock bulge. Brass-lined key channels. Flat springs attached to keys. Ivory cap, threaded screw, and ferrules. Brass lined head joint. Round embouchure hole. Nominal pitch: C. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
