Bass horn
English bass horn, with V-shaped configuration made in three sections (bell tube, body and crook) of copper tube with brass trimmings and keywork. The bell tube joins the body through a brass butt-cap. Swan-neck-shaped crook. Six flat, round-cover keys mounted on brass saddles. Ivory mouthpiece. Nominal pitch: 8-foot C. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
