Serpent
Sinuous conical tube made of wood covered with black-painted leather binding (some black-painted tape applications/repairs), with brass trimmings (crook receiver and bell garland) and keywork. The inside of the bell is painted in red. It has three flat, round-cover keys mounted in brass saddles, and the fingerholes are bushed with ivory. There is also a single-line seamed brass crook.
