Valved bugle
Double-coiled, bugle made entirely of brass with three bottom-sprung piston valves, with a solid metal guide pin. One of the coils is a circular loop at the distal bow. The brass mouthpiece has a ligature tuning system and is attached to a chain that would link to the receiver (now broken). There is a finger hook-plate on the bell tube, and two ring-plates for cord located on the inner side of bows. The valve buttons (touches) are missing. Nominal pitch: 4-foot C.
