Schalmei in the form of a toy trumpet
This schalmei is in the form of a toy trumpet. It is made of brass. Although it looks like a brasswind, the schalmei is a free reed instrument in which the different pitches are engaged by depressing the buttons. The three pitches that it plays are just enough to play "Taps", if one ignores the octave. Although this is a toy, it is of extremely good construction.
