Bagpipe
A set of bagpipes with two drones of brown wood, possibly laburnum. The drones have no combing (finely spaced turnings), as is typical of modern instruments. According to Donald MacAlpine, who was living at Loch Awe in 1877, this set of bagpipes was played at the Battle of Culloden. It was donated to the College of Piping by Charles Hepburn.
