Virginal
This English virginal by Thomas Bolton of Cheshire has a compass of GG/BB-f3 (with a short octave, something that was unusual for English virginals). The inside of the lid is decorated with a waterside country scene. This instrument is referred to in Edward L Kottick's "A History of the Harpsichord".
