Goge (part)
This is a resonator body only, probably from a goge spike-lute that can be found in southern Nigeria. It is made from a semi-spherical gourd, orange in colour, with a soundtable made of stretched reptile skin pinned with small wooden pegs. The skin has a soundhole hemmed with plaited thread.
