Trumpet
This instrument might be associated with the Cyfarthfa Band, one of the greatest and oldest virtuoso nineteen-century brass bands, founded in 1838 by iron magnate Robert Thompson Crawshay. It is a double-coiled trumpet made entirely of brass with a single main tuning-slide that draws towards the player. This instrument may have been provided with more than one tuning slide for playing in different keys.
